Hello there. I’m Blizzard (aka Izzy), which is really quite a fitting name for me, because you could say I have been through quite a storm. While I have a story to tell – what I am really focused on now is the “happily ever after” part of my tale.

You see, I’m a 10-year old man, a Llewellyn Setter actually, looking for a soft loving place to land – a gentle heart, a warm touch, a quiet place to live out my golden years. My foster mom has shown a whole new world of comforts to me:  a soft orthopedic bed, a comfortable raised feeder, a gentle dog sister to teach me about the ‘great indoors’ and affection and love like I’ve never known!

Foster mom tells everyone that I am perfect! Imagine that – a former outdoor, hard-of-hearing senior dog – perfect?? She brags that I am quiet, laidback, housebroken, great on walks and riding in the car, good with other dogs (and probably with cats, but I haven’t seen any yet), no fears or quirks, and she thinks I’m likely great with older kids.

Foster mom thinks the next chapter of my story should include a person or quiet family that is home most of the time to give me the love and affection I greatly deserve and appreciate, a gentle dog sibling to keep me learning and moving, someone with patience and understanding of my distinguished senior traits.😉  If this might be you, I hope you will get in touch with TGRR.
