Willow – Adopted!
Dog ID: 211052 Sex: Female Age: 3 Year old
My name is Willow, and I am a very sweet 3-year-old, 66 lb. Golden Mix. I’m looking for a peaceful, structured home where I can gain some confidence and feel safe. If you are a quiet, laid-back single person or a retired couple (without other dogs, kids, or lots of visitors) with a patient heart, I would love to meet you!
I am a timid girl – and while other dogs make me uncomfortable and children make me anxious – YOU will be the center of my universe! I don’t really know how to play yet, but being with you is what makes me happiest anyway. I don’t even like to go outside without you.
TGRR’s trainers have been working with me to help me gain confidence. I’ve already learned some things like Sit, Wait, Come and Crate. I also do well on leash walks, going into my crate when you ask me to, and riding in the car. I used to struggle terribly with allergies, but TGRR put me on a high-quality food and allergy meds and this has already made a huge difference in how I feel. I need to continue on both in my new home.
Stephen King said, ”Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.” I am super hopeful that your home fits the bill for me, I am more than ready for my next chapter.
Hugs,
Willow
