Hello everybody!  I’m Freya, and as you can see, I am a beautiful girl! I weigh 62 lbs., I’m 6 years old, and I LOVE people! My foster mom says I have really good house manners, that I’m actually very chill indoors. I absolutely love it when she pets me, especially when she rubs my paws. As far as I’m concerned, she can rub my paws all day long! Take me in your fenced yard, and I forget that I’m 6 and should be slowing down. I turn into this energetic girl who likes to chase tennis balls, do zoomies and play tug-of-war. However, take me for a walk or some place new to me and the challenge begins. You see, I haven’t been out in the world a whole lot, so I’m afraid of about everything that’s new to me:  riding in a car, cars and trucks driving by, signs by a walkway, noisy neighborhoods and I really dislike it when other dogs come up to me. In fact, I’d like to be an only dog and have you all to myself! I’m not so sure about rambunctious young children, but I’m good with teenagers. I’ve never been around cats, so I don’t know what I think of them.

So you see, I need to be adopted by someone who has lots of patience who will help me gain confidence in a world that currently makes me very anxious. I have a lot of love to give and a heart of gold. With patience, gentle reassurance and guidance, I will be the sweetest and most loyal companion you’ve ever known.
