Hi there!

My name is Dudley. I’m a Mix of some sort and kind of a little guy, just 47 pounds. The vet thinks I’m around 7 years old. TGRR got me from a shelter where I had been picked up as a stray. They’re fairly certain I’ve had a tough life up until now.

Something really important to know about me is that I’m afraid of just about EVERYTHING! And when I’m scared, my automatic response is to run away and hide. My foster mom is so-o-o-o patient with me, she’s helping me learn that my safe place is inside her home.

I love other dogs, big and small, male or female, quiet or rowdy! I love to be outside and run with them, I also like to be near them when we’re inside. I have perfect manners. I don’t bark (ever), I don’t chew anything, and I never jump on houseguests. I even patiently hang out with my foster mom in her office while she works all day. Oh yeah – and I’m a handsome fella, don’t you think?!

I would love a quiet home with a human or two who will give me lots of pats on the head and a dog or two that will help me gain confidence and learn how great it is to be a dog! I haven’t been around any cats, so I don’t know how I feel about them. Kids? Well, they scare me.
