Coco – Adopted!
Dog ID: 220213 Sex: Female Age: 2 Year old
Happy Spring everyone, it’s a time for new beginnings. I’m Coco, and I’m looking for my own new beginning in a forever home.
Have you ever seen a Golden/Bassett Hound mix? Well, you’re looking at one now, at least that’s what TGRR’s vet thinks I am. I’m about two years old, I weigh in at 54 lbs. The vet said I’m a little overweight. Personally, I think I look just fine.
I love attention and being petted, and I especially love to cuddle with my foster parents and their kids on the sofa! I also like being on the sofa because it gives me a higher vantage point.😁 I know how to sit, I come when you call me and I enjoy rides in the car. I pull on the leash a little when we go for walks. I tolerate my crate OK and I probably need to go to a home that’s willing to crate me when you’re away from home, otherwise I’ll chew up things and I might accidentally swallow my favorite thing to get hold of: stinky socks – YIKES!
My foster parents say I’m a ‘alpha,’ that I have a “Napoleonic Complex.” I just know when I’m wrestling with my two 75 lb. big boy foster siblings, I have no problem giving back all I’ve got to those big dogs. My foster parents think I’m best suited for a home with no other dog(s) or a home with a more submissive canine. There are no cats here, so I don’t know how I feel about them. I was kind of afraid of foster dad when I first arrived here, but once I figured out what a cool guy he is, he’s my best bud!
I am a very happy, sweet alpha girl and I look forward to meeting you! My appearance is so cute and so different, I can be a new beginning for you too!
Hugs,
Coco
