-Hello, I’m Bonnie. I’m a 7-year-old Golden Retriever and I’m just now learning what life is like to be a “dog for fun” instead of a “dog for breeding.” I have learned that being petted is pretty spectacular! I will warm up to you easily if you show some patience and some pets! I’m learning a lot from other dogs in my foster home and I would really, really like to be with another mentor dog in my forever home – they teach me so much about being a dog and how to do stuff. I’m a pretty calm girl so I’d appreciate a calm home as well. But, with another calm dog, don’t forget. I have even liked the kids that I’ve met, or did they call them teenagers? They were calm and sweet too and very loving, so yeah, I like those teenagers too. BTW – I do just fine on a leash, in the car, in a crate, and I am potty trained.

I am eager to please and once I feel comfortable in a new home, I will open up to you I promise. I think I’d be a great addition to your family. What do you think?
