Greetings, my name is Angel, and I’m about as beautiful as a real Angel. I’m a 5-year-old, 78 pound, Golden Retriever. When I first came to TGRR, I wasn’t housebroken, but I quickly learned not to go potty in the house. Actually, I’ve learned quite a few things! My foster family has been a blessing to this shy, skittish girl. They say that I ‘adapt to the situation,’ so when it’s calm in the house, I’m calm with them. When we go outside in the fenced yard, I soak up the sun’s energy and take a few playful laps around the yard with my very cool furry foster brother! My positives? Even though I’m shy, I’m learning about being friendly. I get along with other dogs really well, I don’t mind cats, and I believe I would like kids too. In fact, I really want a furry sibling in my forever home, so they can help me learn that being a dog is a really good thing!  My ‘areas of improvement?’ I get frightened easily. But hey, give me a break, living in a loving human home is all new to me. I do not know any commands. In fact, it took me a while to even learn my name! So you’re going to have to work with me on all those words humans say before giving a treat to the dog. My foster family wants you to know that although I’m still skittish, that I gain confidence each day and they can’t wait to see me blossom into a wonderful house dog with my forever family. So you got some time to spare, and a furry sibling to show me the ropes, so we can all put some work into me? If so, I’d love to meet you. After a proper and slow introduction of course 🙂
