HIYA! I’m Zeke! I’m what they call a “Velcro Dog.” I pick a favorite human and stick to them like glue. I love being petted and getting attention from humans more than anything!

I’m five years old but have the energy and playfulness of a one-year-old. Sometimes I get so excited to be petted, I forget to hold still so the person can do it. When I first got to TGRR, they called me “Wild Man,” but I’ve (mostly) learned not to jump on people when I meet them. In fact, I got to go to a special foster who is a dog trainer so I could learn not to jump on people. I weigh 88 pounds so I’ve learned that’s a little too much dog to have jumping on you.

I love to play with balls! I’m not completely good about giving them back to you but I’ll gladly chase them and can even entertain myself for a good deal of time with a ball.

Kids are great too! I match their energy. I’ve never been around cats so I don’t know about them. I’m great in the car – I love cruising and looking out the window.

I’m fine in my crate, but it’s not my favorite place to be. I’d rather be hanging out with you and you can trust me when you leave me alone to not be naughty.

So if you’re looking for a sweet sidekick, I’m your man!
