Hi there! I’m Winnie, and I’m 1½ years old and weigh 48 pounds, so I’m a petite Golden. My Foster Mom says I have two speeds—Turbo and Full Stop! I can do Zoomies with the best of ’em, and I play my little heart out with my furry foster siblings. But after a burst of fun, I’m all in for a good snuggle and a nap!

I love being with other dogs and really hope my forever family has one (or more!) active dogs who will enjoy playing with me. I previously lived in a not-so-great situation, and when I came to TGRR, I was very timid and scared. Being around the other dogs has really helped me learn how to “dog” in a family-pet kind of way and has done wonders for my confidence.

I’m still a little fearful when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, and I haven’t quite gotten over my fear of men. If there’s a man in your family, I’ll need patience, understanding, and time to learn that I can trust him. Once I feel safe, I’m sure I’ll continue to blossom!

I walk on a leash like a champ! I was fearful of that, too, but I’ve come to really enjoy my walkies. I walk with a loose leash and stay right beside my Foster Mom!

I love children! They’re so sweet, and I love getting attention from the little ones. I’ll play with them, too, but I’m especially fond of a good snuggle and some pets from the kiddos.❤️

I ride like a champ in the car, hopping right in and out without assistance.

I’m ready for some consistent obedience training. I’m very food motivated and a quick learner, so I think I have the potential to earn an A+ in that department!

Because I still have a lot of puppy in me, I should be crated when you’re away from home for my safety so I don’t get into something I shouldn’t. I wasn’t potty-trained when I came to TGRR, so I’m still working on that, too. Keeping me on a consistent “puppy schedule” will help me continue making great progress.

So, if you’re looking for a fun-loving girl who knows how to have a good time but also loves to chill, snuggle, and nap, I might just be your gal!
