Are you looking for an easy-going, shadow dog that’ll follow you wherever you go? I’m your gal! My name is Raisin and I’m 8 years old and weigh 82 pounds (and yes, I need to lose a little bit of weight, I’m working on it).

I’m generally pretty mellow but I LOVE a game of fetch! I will play fetch for a long time, if you’re up for it (and I hope you are!). I’m also quite the snuggler too – that’s my other favorite pastime. 🥰

I really hope my forever home has a person who’s around most of the day and doesn’t mind a furry shadow. Sometimes I’m a bit on the nervous side and new people, sounds and situations make me a bit uneasy. I’ve been known to be quite vocal when first meeting new people but it doesn’t take long for me to get over my fear and win me over with pets. I also get uneasy when I’m separated from my person.

I know how to Sit on command and I walk well on the leash. I’m not a fan of the crate but I’m learning it’s my safe place when my foster mom needs to run errands.

I do great with other dogs but I mostly ignore them. I get along great with cats too. Since I’m not a fan of sudden movements and sounds, I don’t think a home with kids is for me.

You’ll need to give me a little boost to get in the car but I ride like a champ once I’m in and can jump out myself just fine. Foster Mom thinks as I lose weight I’ll be able to jump in on my own.

There’s a lot of life left in this middle-aged girl, and I sure hope you’ll want me as your constant companion!
