Hey there! I’m Misha. I’m 5 years old and weigh 96 pounds. The TGRR veterinarian says I should weigh about 75 lbs., so you guessed it….. I’m on a weight-loss journey.
The first five years of my life were spent as a breeding female and suddenly I find myself a house pet! So many things to see and experience that are new! It’s very exciting but a little bit scary too. The great thing is I have two foster brothers that are teaching me how to “dog” in this new and fun way! It turns out things like stairs and hard wood floors aren’t that scary after all.
Foster Mom says that I turn into a puppy sometimes, getting the zoomies with how exciting it is to play and run in this new world. She also says I wrinkle up my nose in an adorable way when I get excited.
I get along great with my foster brothers and I absolutely need to have another dog in my forever home because I’m still learning and experiencing new things. I love to play and while I haven’t mastered fetch or tug, this whole new world of Dog Toys is awesome! I’m not startled by the squeakers in my toys anymore and just generally think toys are great.
I’m working on “Sit” and doing pretty good with it. I’m also learning how to walk on a leash wearing a harness and coming along nicely, if I do say so myself!
The other day we had kids come and visit for a couple of hours and I was interested in them and enjoyed them. I haven’t been around cats so I don’t know about them.
I need a boost getting in and out of the car and riding in the car still makes me a bit nervous. But I’m already used to the vacuum and the thunder doesn’t really bother me.
I’m not what you’d call a big snuggler but I love getting lots of pets and belly rubs!
I’m ready for the next leg of this journey and hope you’re the one that’ll want to take me on it!
