Hey there! I’m Mason! I get excited meeting new people and seeing new things but give me a minute and I’ll chill. I’m seven years old and weigh 94 pounds – I’m not overweight, just a big, strong boy!
I love playing with squeaky toys and with balls, especially. When I head from one place to another, I’m going to grab a ball to take with, just in case. I keep track of the balls around the house – foster Mom says I’m smart that way. I love it when you throw balls for me but I’ll be honest, I’m not great about bringing them back.
I also love other dogs but I play hard and I’m big, so it’s best if your dog is up for that, ya know? I’d also be fine soaking up all the attention and being your only dog.
I’m great on the leash – I’ll walk beside you with a loose leash but confession time: occasionally I have a bad habit of trying to bite my leash. I don’t do it all the time but sometimes I just can’t help myself. Foster Mom thinks someone will need to plan to work on that with me.
I’m great in the crate and will even go in there on my own. I’m good about letting people know when I need to go out so you never have to worry about that.
I’ve never been around cats so I don’t know about them but I’ve lived with kids and they’re great (see above on being big and strong though – I won’t mean to knock one down but don’t rule it out).
In between bouts of excitement, I’m really quite calm and very much like a traditional Golden – smart, sweet and wanting to please. I sure hope I’m the Golden Boy for you!
