My name is Lily, and I don’t mean to be silly.                                                                                                                                                          But before you scroll on or start getting willy-nilly,                                                                                                                                                        I need you to know that I very well may be                                                                                                                                                              The most perfect Golden you ever may see!

I am a beautiful, 64 lbs., 5-year-old female Golden that shines not only in looks, but in my wonderful house manners, temperament and personality. I am fully housebroken, don’t need to be crated, and I do not jump on people, beg for food, or get on furniture. I know commands like Sit, Down, Come, Stop/Leave It, etc., and I correct very easily if needed. I gladly leap into a car, I sit and wait for you to put on my leash, and I EVEN behave for baths.

I overheard my foster dad bragging about how well I play with other dogs and how nicely I sit for children to pet me when we are on walks. He also says I’m well-mannered about meeting new people. Foster dad thinks I will be happiest in a forever home that has a canine I can play with and children over the age of 5. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I don’t know what I think of them.

I love my “hoomans” and I will imitate their energy….  if you’re busy & playful, then I will be too, but if you just want to relax & chill – I’ll be there at your feet. I love attention, getting petted, & of course, car rides! I might need a little bit of work with leash walking with a front-hook harness and I need special food and meds to keep me from getting itchy.
