Greetings Everyone!!! I’m Layla, a 14-month-old Golden/Aussie mix (at least that’s what TGRR thinks I am), and I am ALL PUPPY! I weigh about 40 pounds, just the right size to be a lapdog whenever I get the chance!

I love to be around other dogs and play tug and wrestle – I sure hope my forever home will have another playful canine brother or sister for me to play with! Walks are a treat for me, I get so-o-o-o excited when we first head out, eventually I walk calmly though. (Foster mom says my leash manners could use more practice.) I know how to sit, but I would much rather run and do loopty-loos in my foster home’s big fenced yard. My humans think I might be great with children as long as they can handle this jumping on people thing I like to do – it’s just to tell everyone how excited I am to be with them! I do OK with cats, but I must confess if a cat takes off running, that’s my cue to chase after it! I love to ride in the back of foster mom’s van, but even better, I like to ride in the front seat and help her navigate. 🙂

I love toys, lots and lots of toys, I even have a favorite one I carry around with me – see him in my pictures? You know what else I like to do? I like to watch TV, especially shows with kids and animals, and especially if you’re right there with me. Thunderstorms, fireworks, loud noises? No problem – I’m fearless!
