Gracie – Adopted!
Dog ID: 211158 Sex: Female Age: 1 Year old
Amazing Gracie is my name, or maybe it’s just Gracie for now? But I will be amazing if you adopt me and have lots of patience with me, because everybody at TGRR thinks just the right adopter will help me mature into a confident great girl!
The wonderful folks at TGRR picked me up from a shelter, nobody understands why I was left there. I’m a small beautiful girl, only 35 pounds, about 1-year-old, I have a very sweet disposition, but I am timid. I’m a Golden Mix, but I look just like a Golden, just a miniature one. I’m treat motivated and I learn quickly which is a good thing because I don’t think I’ve had any training before coming to TGRR. It’s a good thing that I’m small because I can pull really hard on leash. I can’t help it – I get so-o-o-o excited when we go places because I haven’t seen much of the world yet!
I like a crate okay, and I sleep in one at my foster home. Foster mom says an active family with older children would be a good fit for me. Foster mom also thinks it would be great for me to have a mentor canine brother or sister. I think that’s a great idea too because I love to play and I get really excited when I see other dogs! I haven’t seen any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think about them.
I need a family who will devote themselves to socializing and training me, someone who will help me build confidence. Then, I’ll go from being a “work in progress,” as my foster mom says I am, to “Amazing Gracie.”
