Hi There! I’m Alfie! I weigh 40 pounds and the vet thinks I’m about a year old and. I’m a little guy, but I’m mighty! I came to TGRR after Hurricane Helene – I was at a shelter out west when the storm hit and I was among the first dogs evacuated. You might have noticed I’m not a Golden Retriever, but you should know I’m Golden Hearted!

TGRR just found a foster home for me. So far, I’m doing great there! I love my foster mom’s other dogs as well as the humans I’ve met so far. They go hiking lots, and I’ve discovered that hiking is a blast! I also like to play HARD with my new dog friends.

I can hardly wait to find my forever home! I sure hope they like to hike!
