Tucker – Adopted!
Dog ID: 240426 Sex: Male Age: 10 Year old
That’s why I’m easy; easy like Sunday morning…
Hello there! I’m easy-going Tucker. I’m 10-years-old and a bit on the rotund side at 103 pounds, but I’m working on that. I love going for walks as part of my weight-loss plan with my foster family. I’m what you call a very typical senior Golden Retriever – I’m very happy hanging out here beside you as long as you plan to give me some pets. But get the leash out, and you’ll see I’m ready to go.
I get along great with other dogs but don’t necessarily need them in my life. I’m all about the people! I also get along great with cats. Oh heck, I get along great with everybody!
So you’d think that with my size that I’d be obsessed with food and guess what? I am! I am very food motivated. I may even throw a mini tantrum at meal time if you don’t go ahead and put that dish down for me! But the cool thing is that my foster parents are taking me to a nose work class and I love it! I get to roam around and sniff for treats – what’s not to love?
Speaking of classes, I’m pretty well trained. I can Sit and Down when you need me to. If I get excited on the leash, you can just tell me to cut it out, and I cut it out! And if you need to leave the house, I might whine a little in sadness to see you go, but you can leave me out in the house and I’ll just curl up and sleep.
Hopefully, an easy-going senior Golden is what you’re looking for? I hope so, because I can’t wait to meet you!
