Who’s ready for a game of fetch?!! Me, me, me! I’m Teddy, I’m 2-years-old and all 57 pounds of me is ready to play! When I got to TGRR, I weighed only 39 pounds and was super skinny for my frame but I’m putting on weight these days and I couldn’t be happier!

In addition to playing fetch, I LOVE water! You should have seen it when Foster Mom got out the sprinkler! It pulses! I mean, really, how much fun is that? I jump up and snap the water as it comes around – talk about entertainment!

I also love playing with other dogs and I REALLY hope my forever family has another playful dog or two.

I’m learning commands from my Foster Mom and so far I have mastered Sit, Go Lie Down and Wait. I’m also learning how to walk on leash – I tend to follow my nose, so walking on leash is a work in progress.

I’m not wild about my crate but am learning it can be a positive place. I’ll go in with some food and coaxing. The good news is that you can trust me to be left alone and not in a crate if you have to leave me.

I’m learning how to get in and out of the car on my own, I ride great once I’m in.

I haven’t been around cats. I’m a bit over-interested in squirrels and bunnies, so if that’s an indication of how I would be with cats, I probably need a forever home that doesn’t have them. I’ve met some kids out and about on my walks, and I think they could be lots of fun to have around. I’m pretty energetic though, so kids need to be able to handle being around a bouncy dog that’s my size.
