Hi there! I’m Ruby!  I’m a one-year-old, 70-pound puppy.

I’m not going to lie – I jump on people when I first meet people, I pull hard on leash when you first put it on me, I have little regard for your personal space, and I will eat anything I can get my mouth on! I’m told, however, that’s all typical Golden Retriever puppy stuff! But just like a Golden, I’m eager to please and I want to learn.

I love to play with my furry foster brother! We play all day long. I’m hoping my forever home has another playful dog for me.

I also love attention and have been known to be a bit pushy to get it.

I’ve not been around cats or kids so I don’t know about them.

Basically, I’m a young, energetic dog that needs an adopter who will be patient and teach me boundaries, basic commands and how to walk nicely on leash. I know how to Sit on command and sometimes I even Lay Down on command, but I’m still not great at responding to “No!”

Hopefully you’ve got patience and time to work with me, ’cause I’m going to be a fun companion!
