Hi. I’m Reese. I’m 3 years old and weigh 78 pounds. I don’t know you yet, so I’m pretending to be invisible. If you take your time slowly and get down on my level, you can be my new bestie! So even though new people and new situations shut me down, it doesn’t take long for me to warm up and get excited. I love being around people so very much! I love being petted and playing!

I get along great with other dogs and have learned so much about how to be a family dog from my fuzzy foster siblings (I came from a breeder). My furry foster siblings are a lot smaller than me, but I’m great about sharing toys and wrestling gently with them. My forever home needs to have another dog so I can continue learning how to “dog.”

I especially like little people! I love playing fetch and chase with my foster family’s young kids! I love their energy and playfulness!

The only time I’ve been around cats was at the vet and I totally ignored the office cat there.

My crate is my happy place. I go in and out of the crate all day and I prefer to sleep and eat there. If you need to leave the house, I’m happy to go in and hang out there while you’re gone.

I’m what they call a “Soft Dog,” in that I respond so much better to gentle attention, patience and encouragement. I’m overall such a good girl, I’m easy to have around.

I do get excited and anxious when first put on the leash, but after I’ve been reassured that we’re heading out for a neighborhood walk, you can count on me to walk beside you and not pull.
