Oakley – Adopted!
Dog ID: 2602013 Sex: Male Age: 1 Year old
Easy going and young – is there such a thing? Yes – it’s me, Oakley! I’m a one year old, 63 pound Golden mix and I’ve been known to entertain myself by throwing the ball up in the air and fetching it. I love being around my foster parents and honestly, you just can’t beat a good belly rub, but I’m also good at just hanging out.
I like my crate and go in easily. Foster Mom gives me a frozen treat filled Kong when I’m in it and I love that!
I let folks know when I need to go out by standing at the door and I have a special spot I always do my business in along the fence line. I know basic obedience commands including Sit, Wait, Back-up and Come. Learning not to pull when walking on leash is a work in progress. I like car rides and I load easily.
My one downside is that I’m what TGRR calls “Dog Selective.” I don’t always get along with another dog so it’s best that I be the only dog in my forever home. I haven’t been around little kids or cats so I don’t know about them.
So if you’re wanting a laid back young dog, I’m your boy!
