I love playing ball, although I’m still working on the whole “bring it back” part. Mostly, I grab the ball and run after my foster brother while he retrieves his ball. I’m a big fan of playing with my people and going for car rides. I used to need help getting into the car, but I’m proud to report that as my extra pounds come off, I can manage getting in and out on my own!

I’m great with kids, housebroken and sleep like a dream at night. I know Sit, and I’m getting pretty good at Stay, Wait and Down—sometimes. I’m also learning some important manners around cats. I used to rush up to them, which created a bit of chaos! My foster dad has been patiently teaching me “Stop, Wait,” and I’m catching on nicely—especially when there’s a crispy piece of chicken hot dog involved. 😉

I’m not particularly interested in making friends with other dogs, although I’ve gotten much better with my canine foster brother over time. I may be able to live with another dog with the right match, but I’d also be perfectly happy being your one-and-only girl. What I really need is a human who will give me some leadership, guidance and lots of love.

I few quirks—I think trash cans are treasure chests, and I may occasionally put on my best “poor starving dog” face when you’re eating because, well… I have apparently had some experience with people food. But all in all, I’m a really great dog with a whole lot of love and fun left to give.
