Hi there new best friend! I’m Marley and I’m 7 years old and weigh 65 pounds (I’m about 10-15 pounds overweight). I LOVE people! People are the best! I love getting belly rubs, scratched behind my ears and good old fashioned all-over body rubs! You should see my Happy Dance when you come home and pet me!

My foster parents call me a “Velcro Dog,” cause I’m always wanting to be by their side. I’m not picky either, I love all humans young and old. I’ve been around kids in my former life and get along great with them. I’ve not been around cats so I don’t know about them.

While people are my number one thing, I’m not really wild about sharing the spotlight with other dogs. The ideal family for me won’t have another dog.

I’m not great on the leash but I’m learning not to pull. I can Sit on command and am getting better at Stay and Come. I’m great about letting you know I need to go outside by going to the door or just sitting in front of you and staring at you. I don’t jump on people or furniture, counter surf, or beg for food when my people eat. Once I get over the excitement of meeting new people, I’m a laid-back, chill guy.

I really don’t care for being crated but you can trust me to be left alone in the house and I won’t get up to anything naughty while you’re gone, and I love sleeping on the floor by you at night.❤️

Overall, I’m easy going and calm but I’ve been known for a pretty exciting game of fetch or tug-of-war now and again. I like toys a lot but will gut anything with stuffing. You say that toy is too tough for me to destroy? Watch and learn baby!
