LS – review & update b4 re-posting

Hey there friend, it’s me: Lounging, Little Lucy Lu. I’m three years old and weigh just 30 pounds. I’m just a couple pounds shy of my ideal weight of 32 pounds so I’m certainly a pint sized little girl but with an oversized sweet Golden personality.

I’m down for play time, but I can be perfectly happy sleeping for long periods or entertaining myself gnawing on a bone. I’m happiest when there’s a human nearby. You don’t need to be fawning over me or anything, I’m just comforted to have you nearby and if you move from one room to another, I’ll follow along.

I get along great with other dogs and really hope my forever family has another dog that can keep me company and to wrestle or play with toys with me. I haven’t been around cats, so I don’t know about them.

I used to live with kids and did great with them. I’m chill like that.

I’m getting used to being in a crate, although it’s not my favorite thing. I’ve been known to have some accidents if you leave me loose in the house while you are gone so Foster Mom has started leaving me in my crate instead. I haven’t had any accidents in the house when my people are home to let me out. When I first go in a crate, I whine and bark a little bit to express my displeasure but I settle down fairly quickly and just happily sleep til Foster Mom gets home. (She spies on me with a camera, can you believe it?)

I know how  to Sit on command and am working on Down and Stay. I’m a smart girl and I’m very food motivated so Foster Mom thinks I’ll be easy to train. I don’t really pull on the leash but I will demand we stop for Sniffs on our walkies. I also ride really well in a car and jump right in and out without help.
