Hi there! I’m Jasmine! I’m a one year old, 60 pound, half Irish Setter, half Golden Retriever. I’m up for playing pretty much all the time but also know how to chillax when you want me to.  I’m up for a game of chase or I’m down for a good cuddle.

I get along great with other dogs and love to play with them. I’m really hoping my forever home has another dog or two that want to play. If you see me in a group of dogs, I’m easy to spot. I’m the one carrying around a toy in my mouth!

When I first got to TGRR, I wasn’t very good on the leash and I was a little on the spastic side. I got sent to board with a trainer and I’ve done sooooooo well here! I’m walking well on the leash now and have learned to direct my energy in ways that aren’t quite so taxing to others.  I’m learning things here like Heel, Wait and Sit. I’m very food motivated and eager to please.

I haven’t been around kids or cats so I don’t know about them. I’m still pretty energetic though, so it’s possible I could knock over little kids.  Living with teenagers sounds like it’d be a great fit for me.

I used to get upset being left in my kennel but I’ve learned how to calm myself down and do well in there now. I ride well in the car.
