Howdy! I’m Cosmo, the Ambassador of Joy! I’m a playful 80 pound three-year-old. I’m ready to play when you’re ready but I can chill when you’re not. I’m told I have a killer smile and that I spread joy wherever I go. I’m a very tall boy with a spring in my step.

I get along great with other dogs and with kids. Foster mom says my “Play Tank” is bottomless and I love to play with other dogs and go for hikes. I would love for my forever home to have another dog for me to play with but being an only dog might be OK too if you’re up to my energy. I haven’t been around cats so I don’t know about them.

My favorite thing of all is to cuddle and be loved on! You can’t beat a good snuggle on the couch or in your bed!!!

I walk pretty well on a leash in settings I’m familiar with. You should know though, that when I’m someplace new (like the vet or the store), I’m a bit fearful and my coping skill for that is to be bouncy and hard to control.  At home though, I’m a dream.

I know how to Sit, Off, Let Go and am getting pretty good at my recall when Foster Mom calls for me.

I’ll go in a crate for a high value treat if you need me to, but since I’m so tall, I need a XL crate. The great thing about me is that you can trust me not to get into any trouble if you leave me alone loose in the house.

The car is one of those new places that I’m a bit fearful of. The first few times I ride with you, you’ll need to lift me in the car. Once I trust you and know your car, I’ll hop in. I ride like a champ.
