Hi. There’s shy and then there’s really shy and then there’s me. I’m very slow to trust humans but once I do, I’m all in.

I’m Cooper and I’m 4 years old and weigh just 38 pounds. Foster mom says I’m the goodest boy but that I’m cautious and scared in new situations. I need coaxing to go out into the world but am really well behaved when I do.

I love my pack! Being with other dogs makes me soooooo happy. I run and play and just have a good old time.

I’m a happy boy, period. I love a good belly rub and to chew on an antler. I’m NOT a fan of the crate but I can be trusted not to do anything bad if I’m home alone loose in the house.

You should know that I have come a long way since I was found as a stray and trapped by Animal Control, but that I will probably always be shy. I’ve not been around kids or cats, so I don’t know about them.
