Hey y’all! It’s a beautiful day to have a beautiful day! I’m Chesney and I’m a happy, energetic 1-year-old who weighs 64 pounds.

I love people! I get excited when I meet them and jump up, but I’m learning not to do that with an Off command. I’m also learning to Wait, Free, and Leave It. I’ve already learned Sit and Foster Mom says I’m coming along nicely in learning other manners. I’ve not been around children, but my curious and playful personality indicates I might be a good fit in a family with kids, but not one with little kids who I could knock over in my excitement.

I love dogs! I need for my forever home to have a doggy companion for me, one that likes to play.  I’ve not been around cats so I don’t know about them. I love to play fetch and tug!

I’m a fan of my crate and go in sometimes during the day just to hang out with the door open. You can crate me when you leave the house and I’m good with that.

I’m getting accustomed to riding in the car, I did not like car rides at first. But now, I even jump in and out all by myself!
