Hi there. I’m Benji, I weigh 62 pounds and I’m 11 months old. I’m a tad bit shy so don’t look right at me, let me have time to get used to you. Once I know you, I’m all in and ready to be friends and play.

I’m a big snuggler. Foster Dad says I’m a “spooner” because I wrap myself around you. He said there’s just not anything bad he can think of to say about me! I don’t jump on people and I walk on the leash with just a little bit of pulling. I ride well in the car and I know how to Sit, Down and Kennel Up. I go into my crate for meals and sleep time with no problem.

I love to play fetch! If you give me treats when I bring the ball back to you, all the better!

I love other dogs and feel more comfortable and confident around them. If you have a confident dog, we’d be perfect together. I’m good with cats as long as they’re good with me. Kids make me nervous, so I’m going to be happiest in a home that doesn’t have kids. I’m learning more every day about how to relax when I’m in a new situation.
