When you think of my name – Bear – think TEDDY bear! Cause that’s what I am – a great big love bug. I love people most of all but I’m also wild about dogs and cats and kids!

I’m 5 years old and I’m almost to my goal weight of 60 pounds – I was too skinny when I got to my foster home but she’s filling my belly with lots of good food! And speaking of food, we’re working on figuring out if I have allergies to certain foods or something else because I get on the itchy side and have had a couple of tummy aches. I may end up needing to be on a medicine that helps keep me from being itchy.

I walk well on the leash and crate well. I know sit, come and stay. Basically, I’m all that and a bag of chips! OK, I have a history of chewing things if I’m bored, but these days, I’m never bored! That’s because I have not one but two foster brothers to hang out and play with. I’d love if it you have a dog to keep me happy.

I’m all about staying close to my humans and have never met a stranger – kids in strollers, teens in swimming pools, well, just anyone is interesting to me and a potential friend.
