Hey there, I’m Barney! I’m 13 years old but don’t let that fool you – I’m pretty active and enjoy play time just like the next dog. I especially enjoy playing with my furry foster brother.

I weigh 56 pounds and really enjoy going for walkies! I don’t pull on the leash and am a good walking companion.

I like to carry around a squeaky ball and also love to play with it. I’m great with kids and cats. I wish the cats would play with me and I’ll chase them if they run, but I can be trusted to respect their boundaries.

My overall vibe is chill. I would love a home with another mellow dog like me. I ride well in the car but sometimes need a little boost getting in.

What I love most of all is being near my peeps. I’m very social and love being petted or just hanging out close to you. I  hope you’ll consider making room in your heart and home for a sweet, senior boy.
