Hello! I’m easy-going Angel and I’m very pleased to meet you. I roll with the punches and am a generally happy girl with a traditional Golden Retriever personality. I’m 5 years old and have recently dropped from 111 pounds to 98. I’m still a big girl but I’m working hard to reach my goal weight of 75-80 pounds.

I get along really well with other dogs. I think I’d love to live with another dog in my Forever home but honestly, if you don’t have a dog already and I become your Only, I’m fine with that too. I used to live outside so when I transitioned to being a family “pet,” I learned how to “dog” by following the other dogs’ lead and now we all happily coexist as a pack.

I recently spent some time in a house with a cat and I was so obsessed with them, I couldn’t be distracted – even to eat or go outside. So no home with cats for me, I’m afraid.

I love kids! I gravitate toward kids when they are around. I’m not a fan of loud noises like the vacuum, however, so maybe older kids are best for me so I don’t have to be scared of yelling or other little kid noises.

I also love my couch! I’m especially happy when I’m sitting with a human and getting pet. But I’m also hoping we make our way outside for a serious game of fetch. Don’t feel like going outside? Let’s play fetch here in the house! One cute thing that I do is collect the toys from the toy box and bring them with me to my doggy bed. Foster Mom puts them all back in the toy box and each day we do it all over again.

I don’t really know any obedience commands yet but I’m eager to please. I walk well on the leash though! I reluctantly go into a crate but once I’m in, I just chill. You can leave me out of the crate when you leave the house and trust that I won’t do anything naughty while you’re gone. I ride really well once I’m in the car but need help getting in and out. You need to be ready to boost a 98 pound dog if you want to have a road trip with me.
