Hello! I’m Clyde, two years old and I weigh 65 pounds. I’m a typical young dog with energy to match. I love to play with other dogs and to chew on toys and bones!  If there aren’t toys and bones around, I look for other things to chew though, so be forewarned!

I’m still in need of lots of patience and training. I’m learning Sit and I pull a bit on the leash but haven’t gotten much further than that for basic obedience.

I could happily be an Only Dog, but I think my preferred family would have a large sized Mentor dog for me to play with and to learn from. I’m not good with cats because I chase them and want to play. I haven’t been around little kids but I think they’d be fun to play with too. TGRR says I need confident kids that will help with consistent corrections and training.

I do fine in a crate. If you give me a treat, I’ll go in and settle down fairly quickly.

I’m a curious boy and I’ve been known to check out things on the counter but I don’t steal things off of it. I’m just seeing what’s up there, ya know? I even put my front paws on the counter at the vet’s office to greet everyone and see what was up there!

Last but not least, I’m a true sweetheart!  I love to snuggle on the couch with my humans when they watch TV and I’m always following my humans around like a friendly shadow. TGRR thinks I’m going to be a wonderful family member for a family that understands I’m young and still learning. Hopefully, that’s YOUR family!
